I cannot post this advice strongly enough due to the bad design of having no way of ejecting your roast beans if the ejection chute gets jammed due to solenoid issues or worse; this model is one of the first models Hottop produced which doesn't have a manual Emergency Eject knob at the rear
of the roaster should the ejection chute FAIL to automatically open at the end of the roast; it will ruin your roast, and you'll just have to wait until fully cold to unscrew and take off the front viewing plate, and turn it on its side to pour out the BURNED beans.
If you're into DIY projects, then you can dismantle the rear of the roaster after having unscrewed what seems like 2 thousand screws, and do a check and clean out!
Just AVOID this old model!
